Hi, does anyone know why whenever I play Pokemon Black on my 3DS and try to go on Wi-fi it says “game not compatible” or something? Please help!
Hi Alina,
It may be due to your internet security settings.
If I recall correctly you can access Wi-fi by using WEP or WPA through a wireless router and making sure the password is correct (if the password is in capitals, make sure it is in capitals!).
Another way of connecting is to use a Nintendo Wi-fi USB connector which plugs into your laptop and creates a hotspot almost for your DS/3DS to connect to if you don’t have wireless internet.
I recommend that you ask your parents/carers to help you set the internet connection up, the instructions are fairly simple if you read the booklets which came inside the Pokemon Black box when you bought it.
If your 3DS is already connected to the internet and after reading through the instruction booklet/Wi-Fi help booklet you are still experiencing difficulties I would recommend to contact Nintendo’s customer services which can be done through this link:
http://www.nintendo.co.uk/NOE/en_GB/support/customer_service_17234.html
Good luck! Let us know how you get on so you can enjoy Pokemon Black online!
Thanks For Putting My Question In!
