Is Pokemon World no more? Really disappointed with the new pocket World as only interested in Pokemon and not the other Moshi’s, Beyblades etc. Doesn’t seem a lot in this magazine.
I don’t like it. I am not interested in the other stuff in Pocket World. I am only interested in Pokemon and I am very disappointed in the change from Pokemon World to Pocket World. I don’t think I will be buying it in future. BRING BACK POKEMON WORLD!

Guys, the issues still have quite alot of Pokemon in it. I love Pokemon and Moshi Monsters! Those parts are my fav out of the whole mag!

The Pocket World magazine is quite good yet there isn’t much Pokemon in it! I think they need to bring Pokemon World back and then just make a bay-blade, Yu-Gi-Oh and all the others things in a differnt magazine…
I can’t believe you ruined my favourite magazine with this trash, I read through this magazine and the last and it hardly had anything Pokemon related whatsoever! I have bought your magazine for years and still have the very first magazine you ever published. It seems that I shall stop with 125 and not buy anymore. R.I.P Pokemon World!

I don’t like it either. There’s hardly any Pokémon information. I wouldn’t mind if half of the magazine was Pokemon and the other half other stuff, but this is just too much.

WHY??
I have been reading Pokemon World for years! Since I was 8 years old! I am now 14, one of the only girls of my age in my whole SCHOOL who is still into Pokemon. Pokemon World is the only thing that kept me into Pokemon. If I didn’t have it, I would have gone off Pokemon a LONG time ago. I brought an issue of Pocket World and couldn’t believe all the other boring stuff in it! There are no other worthy Pokemon magazines. If it dosen’t come back, I can swear that I will never be buying one of the terribly dull magazines that you are now making and I will tell EVERYBODY I know not to buy them either!
I was litterally HEARTBROKEN when I found out that Pokemon World was finished.
No matter how much Pokemon stuff you put into these (I’d call them magazines but they aren’t good enough to be them) things, they cannot compare with the brilliance of Pokemon World.
I will never buy another Pokemon item. I will become like all my friends, moan over boys and give in to raging hormones. Start worrying about my weight, never eating anything and throwing up after every TINY meal I have. But most of all, I will try and give up on living.
Near enough every person I know made fun of me for loving Pokemon. My parents called me a baby. No-one talked to me at school.
Maybe you don’t understand just how much I LOVE Pokemon. All in all, I have over 150 Pokemon plastic figurines (no doubles included) I own almost every game, including all the rareties (Pokemon Yellow and all the Game Cubes), I delete and repeat every game CONSTANTLY and never get bored! I own almost 900 trading cards evn though they went out of fashion LONG ago, I have 20 Pokemon T-Shirts and wear them almost every day, no matter what people say about me. I love it. But I will not anymore. I will ditch all of my items, sell all my games and buy make-up and other things which right now mean nothing to me. All I need to be happy is my Pokemon…and now YOU have destroyed it…

^ I agree with what Amelia said. Now, I may not have bought every issue of Pokemon World recently but it still came as a shock to me to see that you would do this. This magazine has been running as it is since 2000! That’s pretty good for an unofficial magazine. This was the only magazine for dedicated, British Poke-fans and now it’s stopped, after so long. I have no problem with coverage of other franchises and games, it makes the magazine very enjoyable but there was no need to go this far. Still, I like how the title is no-doubt a reference to the Japanese title for Pokemon. WE WANT POKEMON WORLD BACK!

MY SON IS VERY VERY VERY UPSET about this change. I cannot believe you have done this-it was the ONLY Pokemon magazine out there for children (and adults) who are into Pokemon. I am furious and will NOT be buying Pocket World!!!
I am a HUGE Star Wars fan and if you changed ‘Star Wars magazine’ to ‘Star world’ and included Star Trek there would be world wide outrage!

Dear Mia. If you read Pocket World I think you will agree that it is still the best (and maybe only) Pokémon magazine available, it’s just that we offer other monster brands as well. As Pokémon World was an unofficial Pokémon magazine, we had no choice but to change the name. We now feel that the magazine offers the best of all monster worlds.
The latest issue on sale this week has a Pokémon Black & White Flip Cover, free Pokémon card pack, free Pokémon movie postcard and official LEGO Hero Factory stickers. I agree with Amelia and Mia. I’m sorry Pocket World Team, but you can’t pretend your magazine is as good for Pokemon as it was. My daughter had been buying Pokemon World for ages. She had just saved up enough money to subscribe and then you changed it. She hasn’t bothered. She tried two issues but it’s aimed at much younger children now, really dumbed down and full of stuff she isn’t interested in.
You were the only magazine dedicated to Pokemon. The Pocket World she bought stlll thinking it was Pokemon World. She was in tears, she felt so cheated out of her money.
She buys other magazines now. But she won’t touch any published by you because you did this.
She emailed you right at the start but never got an answer. You’ve turned a great magazine (even I used to read her copy) into generic rubbish. Please tell me you might consider changing it back.

Me and my sister have been following the magazine for years and our very upset that our favourite magazine is being taken over by as you put it “other monster brands”. If we wanted Bakugan or Yu-Gi-Oh world we would buy a magazine which covers them. We have ended our subscription and will not continue buying the magazine in it’s current state. You tell the other comments to give the new magazine a try and we did. It left us missing our favourite magazine even more. I mean you even took Pikachu out of the little rocket on your logo!
We would beg you to reconsider but it seems you can not be swayed. Pokemon World is dead!
Hi Josh and Alice. Sorry you feel that way. We were asked to make the changes by The Pokemon Company as we are not an official Pokemon magazine. We have tried to continue our great Pokemon coverage, while avoiding upsetting the big companies that run these cool monster brands.
When I bought issue 125 of Pocket World, I was really impressed with the magazine and I can’t stop buying the upcoming issues. You’ve included all my favourite things which are Pokemon, Bakugan and YU-GI-OH! I’ve liked Pokemon since I was 9 and I’ve liked Bakugan since I was 10. Now I’m 14. I’d also like to say a big thank you for putting my drawings in some of your issues. I shall never stop buying your magazines. I love reading them. As your NO.1 fan, I’d really like it if you put my letter and photo recently sent to you on the 14th October into Chatter, could you please do that for me?
