Rovio, the makers of the Angry Birds mobile game phenomenon (it’s been downloaded over 1 billion times you know!), has been busy turning the game into a Theme Park! The first Angry Birds Park in the world opened this month in Finland at the  Särkänniemi Adventure Park. With 12 rides, an adventure play area, exclusive Angry Birds level downloads for iPhone and Android phones and even a roller coaster, it’s a brilliant day out – albeit a bit far away if you don’t live in Finland!

The good news is that this is the first of many Angry Birds parks planned. The next is to be in the UK at Nottinghamshire’s Sundown Adventureland. They have gone for the adventure park theme with sandpits, climbing towers, swings and spring riders plus a giant dummy catapult so you can aim yourself at those pesky pigs! No news yet on when the Angry Birds area of Sundown Adventureland will open, but keep your browser on the Pocket World website for news as it happens!
