Yes, there’s a great promotion going on right now to give away Moshi Monsters Mega Bloks toys – all you have to do is cut out the coupon in the Sunday Mirror, Sunday Mail, Daily Mirror or Daily Record (Scotland) newspapers and take it to the Customer Services desk at your local Tesco Extra, Tesco Metro, Tesco Superstore or Tesco Homeplus stores.

Only, you can’t. Many readers have got in touch (and many more have complained online) to say that their local Tesco didn’t know anything about this promotion, and had been sent no toys! Our Pocket World reporter tried two Tesco Extras and the local Tesco Metro and it was true – Mirror newspapers plastered with Moshi Monsters logos, but not a Mega Bloks toy to be had. The nice man at Tesco Extra in Poole Tower Park did give us some free stickers though (thanks!).

After contacting the Mega Bloks people, it seems there’s been a bit of a problem with getting the toys into the stores. The good news is that the promotion runs until Wednesday 1 August, and you have until Friday 3 August to get your toys – so if there’s a Tesco near you – keep on badgering them until you get your toys!
