It has been confirmed by Activision that they are working on a new Skylanders game ready for release on the Nintendo 3DS this Autumn – Skylanders: Giants. It will be the sequel to the massively popular and multi-format Skylanders: Spyro’s Adventure that took the world by storm last year. Developed by Vicarious Visions, the boffins behind the brilliant Skylanders: Clouds iPhone and iPad game that came out this month, the new 3DS version will allow you to get all of your Skylanders’ toys into the game through the use of the barcode numbers that come with each figure.
We’re expecting some exciting new gameplay developments for Spyro and his band of monsters this Autumn – every Skylanders game so far has been top-notch monster entertainment. Expect big things on Skylanders: Giants in a future issue of Pocket World.
